Strategic Plan Spotlight: Tribal Relations

For the month of March, the spotlight moves to highlighting the work being done across the agency with Tribes. This work supports our DSHS priority of increasing organizational efficiency, performance and effectiveness. In this spotlight, you will hear about how tribal relations are vitally important to DSHS and are a critical part of our work, history and future. This monthly reflection is about the genesis of tribal relations and DSHS. You might notice that a key word missing from that phrase is “consultation.” Rather, we are focused on relations and moving towards relationships. A deeper look into the spotlight can be found here.
