Fatherhood Council accepting entries for photo contest through March 5

The Washington Interagency Fatherhood Council is having a contest to find photographs that represent fathers.

Members of the Fatherhood Council, which is hosting its third annual Fatherhood Summit March 16−18, said they often struggle to find pictures of fathers with their children. The goal of this contest is to share the photos that are collected and highlight the amazing fathers in Washington state.

Photos can be entered in six different categories: nature, sleeping, teaching/work, playing/silly, family/love/candid and look-alike. You can enter one photo in each category.

The contest is open to any resident of Washington state and entries will be accepted until the end of day on Friday, March 5. Entrants could win a $50 gift card prize; a Summit Choice Grand Prize winner will be selected by vote during the Fatherhood Summit. The grand prize winner will receive a photo printer. Winners will be notified via email after March 31.

To enter, fill out this photo contest release form, then email the form, your photo and which category you’re entering to Amanda.Krotke-Crandall@dshs.wa.gov. Attachments cannot be larger than 30MB.
