DSHS’ Behavioral Health Administration releases annual report
The Department of Social and Health Services’ Behavioral Health Administration has produced its first annual report highlighting just some of the incredible work staff have done to transform the lives of the people who we serve who have a diagnosis of mental illness along with their families and the community through behavioral health intervention, treatment and education.
“The work that the Behavioral Health Administration does is critical to the well-being of all Washingtonians. We are transforming behavioral health in our state so Washingtonians affected by mental illness have more tools available for recovering from the challenges that behavioral health conditions create,” said Cheryl Strange, Secretary of the Department of Social and Health Services.
The report shares the story of humans helping humans on their journey to recover from mental illness.
