2022 Children’s Art Contest now accepting submissions

Do you have a child in your family who is a budding artist or photographer, craving to get their creative work out into the world?

Division of Child Support’s 2022 Children’s Art Contest could be that next opportunity for your talented little one to stretch their creative muscle.

In celebration of Child Support Awareness Month in August, DCS is accepting artwork and/or photography from all children up through age 17 that answers the question, “How will you change the world?” Works will be accepted through Aug. 15, 2022. Participating children do not need to be dependents of DCS customers. All children are welcome to participate.

Parents can submit their child’s work to dcscontests@dshs.wa.gov. Works are best received in a high-resolution JPG format.

Selected works will be featured in the 2023 DCS Kids Sticker Calendar. The 2023 calendar will be distributed in fall of 2022 and made widely available to DCS customers, free-of-charge.

The DCS Kids Sticker Calendar was born several years ago and over the years has become an annual DCS tradition, something DCS customers look forward to and appreciate having in their homes.

Each calendar month features a selected original artwork or photo, and a book of colorful stickers included in the calendar helps children track and remember family birthdays, holidays, health care appointments, special events, and other important dates.
